The DETA process of producing a web site:

Web Planning

Once an all-embracing brief has been received from the client (We provide a design sheet to be filled in by a client), our design team will produce a web plan to meet the requirements and objectives of the client. At the end of this stage the deliverables include a content delivery and management plan, and final production arrangement.

Design

Here the "look and feel" of the site is grafted. Once the original design has been designed, a creative evaluation is held with the client to ensure agreement of the design, navigation, content, etc. It is essential to note that the following production phase will not begin until client has signed of the design.

Production

The approved design incorporates all sections of the site. The content is added. The database and functionality is developed and refined (with the Rhino Content Management System, this will not be necessary, depending on the scope of the project).

Delivery

The completed production site is transferred to the final host server. The site is subjected to conclusive testing by both our design team and the client (client is responsible for content, unless otherwise stated. Testing includes verification of all functionality.

On completion of the testing the project is signed off as complete and the basic site is launched. Access control is lifted from the site and it goes live.

The site is thoroughly observed during the first few days of going live to ensure the smooth running of the website.
